to buy on-demand printed charts. It's just the pre-printed ones that are no
longer available - but why would you buy these anyway as you then have to
manually apply any updates post print date?

Lots of very valid points - but as far as size, storage space is concerned,
I am reminded that Sir Robin Knox Johnston sailed non stop round the world -
taking 10 months - in a 32 ft ketch. Clearly the number of crew will

My primaries are set closest to the helm - this I do not intend to change as it
makes for easier short- handed sailing. However the "finger" (sorry don't know
the correct name for it!)
