My club has a "Rat Race". - approximately 15 miles run as a pursuit race. The trophy is a large stuffed rat on a wooden plinth. The winner is REQUIRED to display the trophy prominently at his / her house for the year and bring it on board for the following year"s race to present to the new winner!
