Jeff, according to Midnite’s website, their B-17 inverter can be up to

Hey Folks,
I'm coming into a least a couple small load 200 Amp/240 Vac
single phase commercial jobs that need a Meter/main panel change-out
that I can backfeed ~96 amps of solar onto. Been using a Sq. D 'Solar
Ready' panel for residential jobs but can't find equivalent for this

There was a period of time when we were installing Mitsubishi PVs. Now
we are seeing issues with installs where we were using Mitsubishi
MF170EB3 panels, bubbling backsheets, occasional bad solder joints, many
with half the label's VOC voltage. We actually just discovered one
panel that was p

This particular install requires 6 Gauge for the AC output
from a few SB7.7..-41 inverters (for voltage drop). Pretty tight for
the 3/4" knock-outs in that inverter. Any harm in using a step-drill to
open it up to a 1" KO? Any experiences with this? I'm trying to
Probably is not the cause but hard not to notice the big ding in the
cardboard at about the right spot to cause your "deflection" from just
the right whack with the fork lift. Did it affect all the mods?

I'm going to have to remove the cells from 4 HUP Solar1 battery cases to
change-out the pack (no option, bad access). Anyone ever had problems
come-a-longing from above the first cell and if so, what's the
solution?...and what are you doing tomorrow?
Thx,

Drake,
After having 2 Stabers in the last 25 years, we were having
too many problems with the second one (mechanically was OK but the
brains were not working correctly and board replacements are pretty
spendy. So we ended up with an LG model # WM3500CW as of 3 months ago.

I've only had the "tapping" method work on SB-22 inverters, not on -40
inverters. You gotta log on to the machine which I think you can only
do onsite. Has anyone ever done a reset of the 8206 from the portal?

Interestingly, the problems I've had with the SMA -40 AFCI faults have
been on Comp roofs. When I've gone "inside" a -40 with my laptop, I'm
pretty sure I've seen where you can disable it?

Hey Marco,
I hear you, we have installed many SMA-40's and we're not
at the same point as you may be but we've definitely had a fair number
of arc fault shut-downs which take a site visit to rectify. One
location had been experiencing lightening over a year and a half which

Is the only a way to back feed 128 amps (240v, split PH)
