Jay,
I have an Outback Flexpower2 installed in my shop for a
year now and they are as quite a church mouse at lower power. Once the
fans come on though its fan noise, usually for awhile as loads pick-up
for the day. If the power drops below about 5-600 watts? or so for
awhile, the fan(s) will turn off. Its usually one fan of course
depending..... It (the fan) also definitely is affected by ambient air
temp.

Hi all
I’ve got a client that wants a replacement inverter as her magnum is way to
loud. Yep, shouldn’t be inside, and not by her bedroom but it is and can’t be
moved, either one.
So looking for feedback as to the most quiet 3000ish watt 120vac 12vdc
inverter/charger.
Rarely will need to charge, so options of external chargers are ok too.
Needs to run some power tools, blenders etc.
The victron multiplus II might fit the bill.
Magnum is out because she hates this one.
OB vfxr, maybe?
Thanks
Jay
