Besides the toggle feature of pausing/restarting VO speech, the double-press of
the ctrl key usually "stops" the speech. At least, way back when VO was first
implemented, that was the expected behaviour, this may have changed, I'm not
sure either way though.

re-assign a new eMail address to your Apple ID so that you don't lose purchased

Regarding entering "dvs" in the Search field within iTunes, I believe it varies
per country on the number of titles that will come up. Entering that in the
Canadian store yields no results.

earlier, there is a neat little utility within the Mavericks Installer that
allows you to build a bootable Mavericks installer on a flash drive that is at
least 8 GB in size. If you wish to go that way, I can share instructions with
