Hi,

I tend to agree with much of what Alex says.  I use both Gmail and iCloud right 
now along with a few other accounts.  Most of the Gmail bugs have been ironed 
out so Gmail works fairly nicely with Apple Mail.  iCloud does work even better 
though.  It tends to be quicker at retrieving and receiving messages and is so 
easy to set up on all your devices.  Just like Google, there's total syncing 
between apps and devices but because it's an Apple thing, it's just done easier.
