Hi,

On your iPhone, in the iTunes & AppStore section of your Settings, is Music set 
to "Off" under the Automatic Downloads area?  If this is set to "On", then all 
new purchases done on other devices, including your Mac, will automatically be 
downloaded to your iPhone as soon as they are purchased.

Regarding your second issue, how are you navigating through the grid?  Make 
sure to use VO keys along with the arrow keys and see if you see more albums.
