whisper X350 in the last 11 years for other people while working on mine
only now and then when I had the opportunity.

you have there, made up ply formers and "strip planked" the fuselage of his
plane with end grain balsa and glassed over it. He then glassed the inside
to form a perfect composite.
I bet that fuselage that you have is stronger than a spruce and ply KR.

as you get going. I would assume that the reason for it
cooling down further after the motor quit was the fact that you still had
air speed but were not producing any heat under the cowl??
