Hey KR netters Today at the 2013 EAA convention in South Africa, ZU-GAS, a Whisper Motor glider which I built took the best composite built aircraft award. It took four years for this plane to get to the convention but the new owner did me proud and got her there this year. I feel like a dad with a new baby hahaha. See pic attached.
While at the airport today I also took a look at a KR that has been in the making for about 18 years now. The owner has finally decided to finish her after building a gorgous RV7 and spending the last two years flying it.
