John That is the very issue I was referring to in my last post. I remember finding it very fascinating. I know you can buy end grain balsa in strips as well as sheets that have been cut in a hatch pattern so that they can be formed in compound curves. It is also available in various thicknesses fron about 1/8" to over 1".
