Mark, apologies for getting off subject but is there still a corvair list? I don't get any corvair list messages anymore and am sure I subscribed to it when you swopped out the forum a while back??
On the KR100, The GK1 was based on the KR100 and was powered by a honda 1600 auto engine turning 6000rpm at full throttle. I knew the builder personally and also know the guy that had it for a while after Garth the builder was killed in an unrelated crash. GK1 was capable of something like 240MPH if my memory serves me correctly.
