Should I included a dependency on this? I believe that the policy
manual says that essential packages don't need to be mentioned. But
this may not be useful in the case where the interface provided by an
essential package changes as in this case.

There's an option in pine to control the header display. With full
headers on you see everything, with it off you see only the essential
fields. See the configuration form the main menu.

My guess is that your DNS configuration is incorrect. Have you
checked:

Debian has documentation for most packages in /usr/doc, for example
/usr/doc/lilo. You can also look at the man pages. lilo is not too
difficult to set up with the documentation in hand.

I believe this is the Motif library. You'll either have to purchase
this or try LessTif. Alternately, you can get the statically linked

I believe your correct. PS/2 is a bus mouse and shouldn't require a
serial driver. This is probably being started in one of the programs
in /etc/init.d which you can edit out it you like.

just started using the USRobotics 33.6 PC-Card with linux that
supports Modem (Cellular ready), fax, voice, and ties to my sound
card. So far have only used the modem with debian but works
