I'm running into problems with installing Debian 1.2 on a new laptop. I've created the various floppy disks, start the installation and get the following errors when I insert base14-1.bin:
end_request: I/O error, dev 02:00, sector 0 floppy0: probe failed... The problem occurs when the installation scripts tries to excecute the following command: mount -ro -t msdos /dev/fd0 /floppy The floppy clearly worked fine reading the first two disks. Any ideas? --- Jean Pierre
