Infact, if I shutdown the remote DB, Directors complains and does not start up.

I did a snoop on the SD and FD machines, and found that all traffic is going directly from the FD client to the SD server. So, no double path to the director and back to SD.What can make the traffic run so slow between them?

ll do another test: on localhost machines I usually omit the "DB Address" and "DB Port", so that it defaults to localhost.I will test a machine running Director and DB on localhost, but specify the two parameters as "localhost" and "5432".

wrongly reports Empty slots, when they're not.
The command can load and unload slots, if I specify which ones.
But the status is always empty.
Obviously Bacula cannot label or do any operation, because the responses from

full transfer rate, meaning that the LTO1 behind the SD may run actually faster.

Windows does not say it, but another same machine with Solaris 10 says it

top bacula while the tape is loaded on slot 0, then I can run mt -f
tape-device offline, but this seems to do nothing on the autoloader (while it
works fine on normal single LTO devices).
Do you have any tip on this? How can I let the operator change the thursday
tape easily on a library?

don't have to specify the volume name, but just the device name, and the command should just read the content of any tape may be inserted, showing the label and content summarization.Can you help?
