....today the LTO was mounted and device BLOCKED waiting for appendable media..........
I unmounted, remounted many times and still blocked. But Mount was not telling me what tape was inside (the label).
So I unmounted.
Used btape to see the label on the tape. It was correct........
So I canceled any waiting job.
Stopped bacula and restarted.
Used mount, and I got the mount answer saying what label was on tape........ ????? why???
Then I tried to re run a job by hand.....still waiting for appendable media.
Canceled the job again.
Purged the volume by hand.
Re run the job, and finally I got the job running.......why do I have to purge the volume?!?!?!
The "list volumes" before doing purge was:
