You could always use the passthrough function with jaws, insert+3. That

I have tried it with JAWS and found the built in keystrokes wouldn't work
but others haven't had any problems with them with JAWS.
VLC works pretty well with jaws because I have scripts, but they are
not in English.

Interesting, I've found VLC 1 of the best players I've ever used for audio and
its playlist management functionality is pretty good.

It will play just about everything, but it's mostly for video formats. I
wouldn't recommend it for your audio files as it's just not really designed
with the flexibility to make playlists and such that, Winamp, and probably
foobar as well, has in abundance.

You can do it two ways, one is hold down the left shift and use the left and
right cursors and the other is, hold down the left control key and use the left
and right cursors.
