Jim, I've had a 30-2 for 14 years now, what I do know about them: first 4 built
were 1987 models, they had plexiglass sliding doors for the galley storage and
the panel behind the companionway steps was hinged opening to the aft c

I do agree that the 30 MKII may not be the exact same pedigree as the 34+

Yup, that's our interior. The panels are made of a 3/16" thick teak veneer
plywood, cut using the old plastic panels as patterns. We replaced the two
next to the mast, the one over the galley sink and the one over the walkway
to the aft cabin. We left the white plastic one in the heads as it is

For me the boat has been everything I ever wanted. Looks, performance,

Rob Ball's favorite was the 35 MK III. Personally, I like the 35 Mk II
because I own one and she is a sweet sailor and much better looking than
the newer boats (IMHO). I've sailed on a C&C 121 (flame retardant suit on)
and she is a rocket ship. Very nice!
