Nitto/Arkel isn't the most compatible rack/pannier system in the world
because the little corner triangle braces on the rack interfere with
the cams on the Arkel hooks. I saw a picture of Arkel panniers on the
Nitto rack recently, but it looked like the cam-locks were installed
backwards.
My advic
Are any of you using Arkel panniers with the NItto Big Back Rack? Any
problems?

GB Cypres 30mm tires feel great. Light weight, supple and grippy. I have
some 32mm Paselas (actual width that came on my Quickbeam) that seem nothing
special compared to the Cypres 30s. The GB definitely feel better than the
32s IMHO. Also, they are MUCH better feeling than Ruffy Tuffies. They

that paselas are more of a tough,durable tire. the grand bois is
really a 28c version of a really supple racing tire. the two tires are
designed with different goals. the pasela is tougher, the grand bois
is lighter and ro

How do these compare with the Paselas? I'm mostly familiar with the 559X32
mm Paselas, which I didn't find hugely fast or comfortable; certainly not as
supple as the, alas, much skinnie
i have had great luck with vredestein fortezza comps 700x25. they are
tougher than the michelens. however, the vred 25 is about the same
size as the michelen 23. i live in northern cal. and rarely ride in
the rain and never at night. many of the members of this site ride in
much tougher conditions

I think you can use these gizmos to power your DiNottes. Since they are spoked,
and generator hubs, you're in the clear. These only work properly with RBW

I just got mine too. Funny it looks like Tarik's and yours. I
overstuffed it and it didn't open up while I was using it. It's also
water repellent and I think it will look good with use. It's a little

tire in, but functionally maxes out @ 30mm. I would never get a bike like

Standard from '99 will fit a Jack Brown well enough, but no way with
fenders. I think the Roadeo is probably lighter in a given size than most
of the Riv Roads, not all though as the tubing was custom picked starting in
