I've been jumping back and forth between Pasela 32's and Jack Brown Greens in 33 1/3. Mostly road of late, with a few miles of trail stitched in here and again. I tend to be less than mindful about pressures, going by "feel" versus a gauge. When I bring them up to "full" pressure, it's about 5.5 bar on the rear, less on the front. I'm in the 185 range, bringing a bag o' gear and my bag for work, so maybe another 15 pounds including lock, etc. on commute days. I can feel a difference - not that it can be quantified into "faster/smoother/rolly-ier" or whatever - but the Jack Browns feel lighter and more supple. Most of my regular routes have some pretty bad pavement stretches and the JB's seem to suck up the divots and cracks better. I'd mirror David's comments. The Paselas just kind of shut up and do their job. I liked them just fine until I started riding the JB's.
