How do these compare with the Paselas? I'm mostly familiar with the 559X32
mm Paselas, which I didn't find hugely fast or comfortable; certainly not as
supple as the, alas, much skinnier 559X1 Turbos. But the Paselas felt to me
like a utility tire. If the GBs are more supple than the Paselas, and, #2,
if they are reasonably durable, I'd be interested in putting the GB 28s on
the Motobecane -- for me, true 28 mm is quite fat and just what I want for
rough pavement, firm dirt and load carrying.

That seems high to me. I'm 170 too and I run my 29 mm actual (on the new
Alex DH19 rims; 30 mm labeled) IRC Tandems at 70/80, even with heavy rear
loads, and that feels rough over bumps -- I just rode home on the Motobecane
after pumping up the front, with very slow leak, to 70, and the bike jarred
over expansion bumps. Light 531 frame, with long stays, too. What do the
rest of you use for 700c X 28 mm tires?
