I have a second-hand Joe Stark Riv Road from '01 that can fit maybe a 33mm tire in, but functionally maxes out @ 30mm. I would never get a bike like that, but as it was used I couldn't complain too much. I've been thinking of converting it to 650b with Hetres (would also be a close fit) but a better option might be to get a Roadeo and use the wheels I have!
