Is this intended behaviour : a FILTER command does not control a SAVE

I thought that
MEANS DV1 by var by var2

But I get 3 separate tables

Does MEANS allow to do what I want (or another procedure) ?

I ask this question as , to my surprise, here the COUNT command
does count missing values.
missing values v125 to v130 (-9).
count missval = v125 to v130 (-9

results in about 66,000 cases without any missings (i.e. values of 9)
and in 18,000 with at least one missing.
This looks bizarre.
Any ideas for these varying results ?

With 360 cases consider the time that it already took you to search the
internet, read, try.
Do it manually. It's ugly, against the engineers' honor :-(
But you have full control of the results.
And it's rapid.

Usually, in creating a file, "No such file or directory" means that the
directory does not exist. So, the most likely problem here seems to be
that the name of the directory is misspelled. Could you make really

Hi,
I try to export a part of my sav file into a text file to treat it in
another prog.
This is the syntax used:
save translate
/outfile ="C:\Users\ftr\Documents\data\EV
I see there is no command to save individual factor scores, i.e. scores
by case.
Is there any way to skirt that limitation ?
If not, this would be a very welcomed update as what can you do with a
factor analysis if you can't re-use its results ?

Oh, this looks promising. Thanks you.
Now what is left is this syntax snipping:
/// Begin example, save as piechart.input
How do you save a diagram in PSPP with such a format ??
I hope I'll have fun.

Hi,
Is there any way to treat the graph output ? The current graphs are
helpful for analysis - and this is already really helpful - but you
can't publish them.
I would like to change scales, titles, the numbering format.
Do you do this, and if so, how ?
