It looks for version superior to 0.9.
BTW, here's what's written in the Cinelerra CV manual about exporting to
mpeg2 using mpeg2enc:
http://cvs.cinelerra.org/docs/split_manual/cinelerra_cv_manual_19.html#SEC257
Any comment appreciated. ;-)

Hi Harm,
Could you try this:
jpeg2yuv -I p -f 25 -j *.jpg | mpeg2enc -M 3 -v 0 -K tmpgenc -r 16 -4 1
-2 1 -D 10 -E 10 -g 15 -G 15 -q 7 -b 9400 -f 8 -o movie.mpeg

Ooops, that should work better:
cp seq0frame0001.jpg seq0frame.jpg
jpeg2yuv -I p -f 25 -j seq0frame%04d.jpg | mpeg2enc -M 3 -v 0 -K tmpgenc
-r 16 -4 1 -2 1 -D 10 -E 10 -g 15 -G 15 -q 7 -b 9400 -f 8 -o movie.mpeg

No more bad effects with cubicCR, cubic, sinc4hann, sinc4lan or
sinc8lan algorithm. Great job !
The cubicB output is very smooth, for noisy input only IMHO. Kernels
linear or cubic are very good choice, nice overall picture quality.
Comments ?

The "time" number is for time consumed to encode the input sample,
who has 1500 frames. Have a 800 MHz PIII Coppermine.
I've updated results pictures. Now "time" and "filesize" are ranked,
and also removed

I've packaged this filter for Debian (with "yuvtemporalmed" as binary
name). Can you create a manpage and an "install" target in Makefile for
next release please ? Thanks in advance.

Hey all,
I've put up RPMs+tarball for mjpegtools-1.6.2 release candidate 1
(versioned as 1.6.1.90, because that makes packaging easier) on
sourceforge. This is
With "mpeg2enc -q8 -f4 -a2 -I0 -N [1.5] -42 -41 -S795 -B216" :
- video-svcd_q8-N-1.6.1.mv is 9.9 M
- video-svcd_q8-N-1.6.2.mv is 13.3 M
Why there is so much difference between two versions ?

See
CD preset whereas it's not the case when you use the
"size=352x576" parameter.
That's why I need the right value for the "-O sar" option, more
precisely for the exact right value, 2.235 or 2.188.
Thanks for your help,
