Stefan, I compiled and installed the latest mjpegtools CVS. I tried yuvdenoise with your settings, and I'm really impressed by the result. There is far less noise on the video, and it's not that blur. The average bit-rate went from 7500kbps to 4000kbps! Moreover, I almost prefer the "noiseless" video than the original, with more details but a ton of noise. Unfortunately, the latest yuvdenoise added a green tint on my video. :-/ I opened another thread about that problem. I hope there's a solution for that color shift, because the latest yuvdenoise version seems to be more efficient than the older version. Thank you for your help.
