Hello there!

I just bought a DC10 card, since I read on the internet it's compatible
with Linux. I tried to make it work on my Debian SID system, with the
(home compiled) 2.6.11 kernel.

I followed the instructions given on the Unified Zoran Driver page:
http://mjpeg.sourceforge.net/driver-zoran

However, each time I modprobe zr36067, I get a segmentation fault. The
module is loaded and appears in /proc/modules. However, I can't get any
image from xawtv. That does not seem to work.

Here is some information about my system:
- memory: DDR 3200 Samsung brand
- mainboard: Asus A7V8X-X
- MJPEG card: DC10(new)
- kernel version: 2.6.11: Linux reno 2.6.11 #2 Sun Mar 6 16:47:24 CET
  2005 i686 GNU/Linux
- gcc: version gcc 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-9)

I hope you'll be able to help me, I really need the driver to work, in
order to edit some videos.

Have a nice day!
Nicolas, Paris.
