I use :
yuvscaler 1.9.0 (15-02-2004)
mpeg2enc version 1.9.0 (3.0.0-beta1)

It's not black. It's almost black, but it's a bit lighter.

Total black. RGB 000. It's an YUV4MPEG stream made by Cinelerra.

OK. In fact, I noticed the problem when I increased the brightness of my
video with mplayer.
Here's what I usually see :

And here's the SAME image with brightness increased:
http://www.europephoto.com/info/output_high_brightness.png
You can see the border, which isn't the same color than the other part
of the video (which is real black normally)
