My username is 'pillot' and an ls -l /dev/{dsp,mix,vid}* tells me crw------- and owner pillot and group audio/video according to the device type. pillot is of course a member of both groups :-) Well, i can stick to a -c /dev/video0 command line switch, i just found it strange it did not seem to get it by default ! > > - i always have to use -U with lavrec, otherwise audio task dies.
