does anyone on here use a bluetooth headset with the Mac? I seem to hear a fair
bit about bluetooth headsets with VoiceOver, but I'm not sure if this is just
with iOS devices or on the Mac as well. I have never had any luck with
bluetooth headsets on the Mac. I have some bluetooth head

I love DocuScan as it's so accessible. It's so easy to scan things and convert
them. I can create MP3 files and add them to iTunes. It automatically rotates
pages, gives you feedback if the page looks blank and generally produces
fantastic results.

Just one correction: It is true that DocuScan cannot do OCR on JPGs, which is a
shame, but it can scan multiple pages into one file. I do this all the time and
it is really easy.

Phil, have you actually tried them with the Mac? Can you turn them off and then
on again without losing VoiceOver?
I've asked this question elsewhere on this list but never seem to get an
answer. All my bluetooth headsets which work fine with VoiceOver on iOS have
problems on the Mac.
I agree. I used to have this problem with the TrackPad Commander turned on. Now
I keep it disabled and just enable it if I need to use it for a specific task,
and then turn it off again.

I'm not entirely sure, but you could try the following:
1. Delete your entire current library of music and movies, but do not send the
files to the trash.
2. In preferences, in the advanced pane, select the new location you'd like to
use for your iTunes Media library (e.g. an external disc).

just a VO Space that is required on that unlabelled button. I guess the button
is the broadcast button that Apple speaks of in it's instructions.

I just tested then. I have Safari set to show my bookmarks wen I open a new
tab. It showed the first table with the main categories (Bookmarks BAr,
Bookmarks Menu etc), a vertical splitter, search field and a horizontal
splitter, but no second table with my actual bookmarks.

I've been trying to add my own custom keyboard shortcuts. I've found the place
to do it in the keyboard panel of system preferences. I've added some new
custom application shortcuts but they're mostly not working.

considered the VO keyboard commander? You could add a shortcut using the left
or right option key plus one other key to launch Messages. I tend to use the
keyboard commander for launching applications. Even if you do

upgrading to Mountain Lion. Mail has been a lot less responsive in general.
E.g. when moving up and down in the messages list, VoiceOver seems to be a fair
way behind my keystrokes. Moreover, I get the mail busy a lot
I have 16GB of RAM and still frequently get Mail busy messages. The RAM upgrade
did help reduce iTunes busy and Safari busy messages, however.
If you're thinking of upgrading your RAM, which I generally think is a good
