Hi list, does anyone on here use a bluetooth headset with the Mac? I seem to hear a fair bit about bluetooth headsets with VoiceOver, but I'm not sure if this is just with iOS devices or on the Mac as well. I have never had any luck with bluetooth headsets on the Mac. I have some bluetooth headsets, including the Bose bluetooth 2 earpiece, which work fantastically with iOS devices. However, I just tried these the other day yet again with my Mac, this time my MacBook Air, and ran into problems again.
When I first pair them they work fine. If, however, I turn them off and then on again, I don't get any VoiceOver sound. I need to turn VoiceOver off and on again before I can hear VoiceOver through the headset. Similarly, when the Mac first boots up I can't hear any VoiceOver sound. I need to log in through memory of the key presses and then turn VoiceOver off and on again. I'd love to get the Aftershokz Bluez and the Bose AEW2 if they worked with VoiceOver on the Mac. Thoughts?
