Also, lifted tail too early, insufficient airflow over tail fin and rudder
to counteract the crosswind, exceeded cross wind limit, no rudder seems to
have been applied in attempt to keep straight to counter, wheelbarrow into

10% above the stall is NOT excessive at all. Better that than a stall either
on the turn to final or the approach itself.

How about loosening all the fittings sufficiently to allow movement of the
aileron up and down to realign the hinge and relieve the bind. Then retighten.

Depending on the extent of misalignment, I reckon you would be better off
fill welding the bracket and redrilling it to suit the current spar holes.
This would probably be easier than redrilling and plugging the spar which I
presume is already skinned.

You can tinker/fine tune your static port with a very small blob of epoxy on
the fuselage forward or behind it. Only needs to be 1/16th inch or so to
vary the pressure.

Given that 32mm is the diameter of the Rochester carb on just one cylinder
(3) bank on the stock car engine, my feeling is that a single 32mm carb
would be too small to feed both banks (6) especially at higher revs. What do
Aerocarb say?
