installed linux (ubuntu 16.04.1.). Selecting an image in lightroom and
clicking the print tab does not show the image in this tab after
opening, the size of the sheet can not be set (drop down menu does not

I have some dng images, created by a scanner for diapositives. I tried
to open such dng files in darkroom but the images do not open for
processing. Only an error message is shown that the camara information
for white balance is not found.
The same images can be read and processed by Ra
I can not confirm this issue with dt 3.1.0+811 on Ubuntu 18.04. Tried
with retouch, spot removal and several other modules. Free path masks
are created as expected.

to give you an estimation. Which CPU ? How much cores ? Is a GPU
available, if so : which GPU / Graphics Card ? Have you OpenCL enabled
in dt settings ?
For comparison : on my system (CPU with 6 cores, Hyperthreading), Nv
OK, understood. As far as I remember OpenCL cannot be enabled with intel
graphics cards because of several issues of intel drivers. There where a

"real-time-processing" if your graphics card would be properly
customized. Choosing the appropriate driver is not so difficult, there

- Select module retouch for the first time
- Select any tool (circle or ellipse or free path or brush) and move the
mouse over the image area : tool symbols are not shown, the module don't
gets enabled (on/off icon
Workaround : First switch the module "on" by mouse clicking on the "on"
icon of the module. Then all the tools available are working as expected.
So the reason for the issue seems clear to me : the module is not
automatically enabled by clicking on a tool icon. BTW : the error

no images have been renamed, they are "as imported". Lighttable mode
"custom sort" is activated during import. Do you use the current git
master in "filemanager mode" and "custom sort"? Last stable version

I followed your yesterdays activity on github and just created a "dirty"
build with your fix in map.c (line 2039). After five minutes of testing
and clicking around non of the reported issues occurred, functionality
of the map view seems to be back.

exiftool changing the DateTimeOriginal *is*
altering the original raw file and may cause you lose of data by altering
the original.
Changing a parameter which is definitely wrong is not a loss of data but
a correction. exiftool preserves the original file by adding
"|_original|" to the file name
