Hi,
I have some dng images, created by a scanner for diapositives. I tried
to open such dng files in darkroom but the images do not open for
processing. Only an error message is shown that the camara information
for white balance is not found.
The same images can be read and processed by RawTherapee without any
problems. As a workaround I used RawTherapee to convert the dng to 16Bit
tiff, which afterwards can be processed using Darktable. After this
conversion to tiff the white balance data obviously could be read, the
tint of the image changes drastically if I switch from "camera" to
"manual" in white balance module.
If you are interested in receiving a dng image producing this error
message, please tell me, how I can send it to you. Via email attachment
it is not possible, the files have file sizes of about 100MB.
