OK, understood. As far as I remember OpenCL cannot be enabled with intel 
graphics cards because of several issues of intel drivers. There where a 
number of questions about this in the forum 
https://discuss.pixls.us/c/software/darktable/19 in the past. I'm not a 
developer but as far as I know it is not possible to disable the 
"real-time-processing". Maybe you can do some tuning in the dt settings 
-> central options -> CPU/GPU/Memory section ? Perhaps one of the 
developers can give a deeper insight.
