Are you having a hard time year after year with the same spot? If so there is probably wax or mold release stuck in the Gelcoat. Unfortunately it get grounded in while sanding so you have to work hard to get it out/off. I would try cleaning with Interlux striper cleaner solvent 202 repeatedly. T

Nate, I had handrail covers made as well. They are worth their weight in gold. I still overcoat the handrails every year. The bases sometimes get a little sun when the cover flips up. I have snaps centered in each loop and they do a pretty good job of keeping the covers on. Jake Jak

I did this on my 3QM30 about 6 months ago and I remember removing the starter and exhaust manifold to replace the line. The line I got from Yanmar it was an exact fit. No adjustment needed. You don't want to cross thread any of the connections. Fairly easy job and the bilge is a lot easier to k
