ULDB's here in Long Island Sound that we don't stand a chance against in
the prevailing (light) conditions. Above 7 knots upwind / 10 knots

Did you want a transponder or just a receiver? If just a receiver, consider a
VHF radio with AIS. I have a one interfaced with my chart plotter.
Also having an AIS can give a false sense of security. Not all vessels have
AIS.

Raymarine Linear Drive (the big one) and X30 corepack on Bojangles and
it works perfectly.
We just did 410 miles from Grenada to BVI - with moderate quartering
seas - and the pilot drove the whole way with ZERO cross track error.

there was a lot of negativity in regard to their customer service. IIRC, the
general consensus was, standard horizon had pretty good stuff but lacked in
support.
