I did do laminate from Lowe's. it cost like 55 dollars. itt has the 3m sticky edges. it only sticks to each other strip, not to the fg bottom. this makes it nice to remove. Its been in over a year now and we love it. it cleans up well and has great traction. However. be careful using solvents it will ruin the floors. I have an alcohol stove in my C&C 30 and was priming it under sail one fine day and splashed some on the floor went to wipe it up and swooosh smeared the vinyl wood-grain up in a goopy pile on my towel. But for the money if I changed it out anualy it would be worth it. it took like 3.5 hours the first time but we had to remove the old de-laminated holly-teak that was there. had to put some support under the two counters and the table-leg. All and all i would do it again. Cheers. let me know if you wants some more shots of it complete.
