I notice what people look like and that there are people there, in general,
but I don't really peruse them in detail. If there is man with muscles, my
brain registers - man with muscles - and then I go back to daydreaming about
what I am going to write next. If I am engaged in talking with someone who
is really interesting, however, I start to notice every detail, every pore,
every mole. And with the people I love, well, they seem to be on another
plane that transcends the physical and they are always beautiful to me -
just a little more rumpled sometimes:)
