Because a new 450 SM is $280. A perfectly good used radio is free for
redeployment. We have a recovery list that the installers reference when
they are in the area and swing by and pick up the radio and dish. We leave
the mast and cable as it's now considered part of the house. It makes good
business sense. Now 450b's can rot in hell as far as I care.
