just tell them a house burned to the ground doesnt have a CPE on it. then
offer to let them make sure they have good homeowners insurance before
scheduling.

We abandon gear below 450b and force 300. If a customer demands we remove
it, we put it on the standby schedule. My only concern is the ones we
abandon being turned on and connecting back to the network, they cant do
anything, but i still dont like it. We only pull the radio normally, we
will pull the exterior cable upon request. we wont remove any fasteners or
footplates, thats a hill we will die on.

I do think adding an abandonment clause to the contract/TOS is a good idea
though. enforcing that almost gurantees a bad review blast though
