I like the new symbols for the DSO's but they look like they have been lifted

Hi Georg
What am I supposed to see.
I have compiled 4897 in Windows
I have the Alt/azm grid FOV 1.2 degrees
I look at a star near the horizon
The data gives its geometric alt as 0-35
its apparent alt as 0-59
The screen shows the star alt 0-35

Ah That is the answer
I have the atmosphere turned off by default so I can view star positions by

I must have missed that reference somewhere. Maybe there should be a notation

I deletes the config.ini file and then fails to show anything but a blank
screen (with menus)
The last compile that worked for me was 5387

Reference the problem I said deleted the config.ini. It does not delete it. It
just wipes all the text and leaves a blank file. Barry Gerdes

You talk about virtual environments. I gather you have VMware on your main
system. What is your main O/S and what version of VMware do you have.

Hi Alex
I thought that may have been the problem but I could not find a later version
of gettext than 0.14.4
I did not even see a later source . Maybe I did not look close enough.

This does not exist. zlib1.dll is in the Source: "C:/mingw/bin/zlib1.dll";
DestDir: "{app}"; Note: There is no bother compiling in Ubuntu 11.04 or 12.04

PS I did manage to compile gettext-tools on XP and have libgettextsrc.dll there
but I can't
compile the rest.
