It's a MacOS Sierra thing. Open `preferences > Dock > Prefer tabs when
opening documents:` and choose what you want. In my case, I have it set
to always and that way, MM will open a message in a tab, same goes for
compose window etc.

1. Right click (ctrl+click) MailMate icon and choose Get Info;
2. Drag the old Icon onto the new icon in the info panel (top left).

I had noticed that it wasn't necessary to restart MailMate (saves tons of
time). As for the logging, I'll keep that in mind for future bundles. For now,
