Problem with Amazon Alexa on iOS 17.4

Hello, I am running iOS 17.4 on my iPhone 15 pro where I have installed the Amazon Alexa App. I am trying to use timers on Amazon Alexa. When I ask to set timer for say 30 seconds Amazon Alexa says after a few seconds “sorry I am having problems”. This did not happen before I upgraded to IOS
