With respect to the Amazon app, I just get around it by going to 
amazon.com/text
Now the trouble there is you must log on every time.  This is so no matter if 
your doing it on the Mac or your phone.  Works but a well functioning app would 
be so much nicer.  Funny, it used to be.

With respect to the Walmaart app, there was a time when it was almost perfect.  
Recently, they've gone and broken focus so it jumps everywhere and was for at 
least a couple of update cycles almost unusable.  Going to Walmart.com was a 
kind of fix but now the app seems to have stabilized kind of sort of.
