reconfigure vm fusion is because it treats it as a new computer setup,
therefore needig to reauthorize it as you would on a computer you reformat

disaster struck, and I reverted to Mountain Lion. Apps and Safari loaded

Sounds like they have fixed the voiceover bug that was in 10.9.1 that
prevented it from reading screens in applications that use apple

I have always thought it was OK to upgrade to Mavricks. I can tell you that
it's not necessary at all to upgrade VMware Fusion. I didn't and it's just fine

Second, make sure you have version 3.4 of DiskmakerX.
If the Mavricks installer is in the apps directory, DiskmakerX should ask you
what version of OSX to make? Either lion, Mountain Lion, or mavericks.
Make sure than an 8GB thumb drive or higher is formatted
I believe you need to hard format an 8 GB card or more and that is the step I
believe you skipped.

So, I have a couple of questions both regarding email.
First of all, the sounds are not working properly. I no longer get a sound
when I am at the top or bottom of the list of messages. I looked in sounds in

dialog box will pop up when you add an item to the folder and you confirm that
you want to allow it. I don't notice any sound. I'd guess you could add
something with an Apple script, but I am not sure.

The best program for marking up an epub book is in my opinion nisus writer pro.
In this case finereader pro could make the epub files for me, so if there is a
program that will let me open them and edit them, it would help a lot.

First you would have to go to system preferences then go to sound then in the
input and output tabs set the sound to come through the headset. Next go to
voiceover utility then go to sound and then set voiceover to go through the

would work well as it is all keyboard oriented. However, I haven't tried it so
