Hi Yuma,
Sorry, I should have added that you can't use iBooks unless you can download it

Hi Yuma,
If you have an ePub file from O'Reilly, just use Command-O ("Add to Library")
as though it were an audiobook or music track. It will show up in your iTunes Library
under Books. Then, just sync it to your iPad by checking it on the appropriate tab. (I

Hi list,
Just to add some fuel to the fire i am feeling right now about books i cant

Can anyone recommend any FTP clients? I'm attempting to use Transmit but can't

Hi Linda,
I'll answer your question about how to move, edit, and delete bookmarks by adding to the

To keep your cache clean, I'd recommend "Cache Out X". THe app is simple to
use, just a bunch of check boxes & labels such as user cache, internet
cache, and each browser has its own checkbox. You can also check an option
to clean it up on every startup. It's free, too.

Hi, Chris,
Thanks, actually, I had saved a copy of your entire message. I get to

I have these hassles with PDF files too. There isn't really a way around it.
The main thing I've found is to uncheck the continuous option in Skim. You'll
have to read it a page at a time, but it's less likely to crash.
The other thing I did was install a pdftotext script. If I've got a file th

Hi,
Well, it is, according to Skype, its own technology.
Basically, what it is. it's a small, round box with two cables set close
