Hi, Chris,

Thanks, actually, I had saved a copy of your entire message. I get to
the bookmark bar a different way, opening Safari, using VO-m arrow over
to bookmarks, select and arrow to the bookmark bar from there. Does the
method of getting to the list I'm working with make a difference?

It was the last 3 steps that have me stumped. To highlight a bookmark
do I interact with it? In addition to the other places I checked, I
also checked the VO Help menu and found nothing about highlighting.
Once I learn how to highlight the bookmark, I also need the way to
"cut". I did find information that said "command V" is used to paste.

I'm also trying to find out how to delete bookmarks. Does it need to be
highlighted first and then the delete key would do the trick but I'm
back where I started- how do I highlight the bookmark?

thanks again for your assistance,
Linda

Missed a critical bit of text before the text you copied. Original post
was:

Easiest way I've found to rearrange is to open up the Show All Bookmarks
with command-option-b, navigate to the bookmarks bar and then to the
table listing the items in the bookmarks bar. From there you can
highlight the bookmark you want to move, cut it, move to where you want
it to be and paste it.

Hope this helps.

Hello everyone,

A good while back, Chris provided a good explanation of how the bookmark
bar works, using command and the associated number to pull up web sites.
He also gave me the following instructions if I wanted to re-arrange the
bookmarks. For example, I want to move the one I use the most from the
current "command-5" to the "command-1" position.

Here is what Chris said:
>From the bookmarks bar you can highlight the bookmark you want to move,

So, now I've been trying to figure out how to highlight, how to cut and
how to paste with no success. I searched on the Lioncourt
Mac-cessibility page and Google. No luck.
I also check the Getting Started Guide for instructions on deleting a
bookmark and came up empty. Pressing delete by itself didn't do it.

Your assistance would be appreciated.
Linda
