(one) bout with A-fibulation caused by physical stress. I was sent to the
hospital, the A-fib was gone by the time I was admitted and hasn't returned
in over two years. I was sent to have a heart catherization, no problems,
I noticed in the fastest KR information my KR (880AB) was listed as a KR2S.
It is only a KR2, also the engine is a Great Plains 2180 cc Volkswagen, not
a 2100.. The course was flown at around 75% - 80% power due to high exhaust
temperatures (over 400 degrees) at rpms greater than 3,000. The prop

As I told Mark J, I made it easy so as not to embarass anyone. There are
others out there (though not dumb as I am) who do not know the initials
either. They do not want to embarass themselves by not expressing

Netters - I just finished installing my belly board. Have not tried it yet as
my engine (from a collision with a truck) is not back from Great Plains. I
followed Mark Jones' method with the board hinged just behind the aft spar. My
board is 1/8 foam core with several layers of fiberglass with ha
FSDO's will not inspect in Mississippi. All inspections are done by DAR's. They
charge what they feel they can get away with. My inspection cost $500. The
inspection took 15 minutes and the paperwork took 2 hours. His printer was very

Nope! It was a R&D project at Mississippi State University. The glider was
an Owl ultra-light glider being tested for development as a UAV. The
airspeed was mechanically peged at 100 mph, vne 90. The test pilot was not
aware of the speed he was going because of the peg. Computer data analysis
unintential.

My two cents for what it is worth. Terry Teer had this problem and after
spending weeks of trying this and that it ended up being a vapor lock in the
fuel line. This hic-up only happened during taxi and you could set your
clock by it. It would occur approximately 2 minutes after beginning taxi.

accept the Dragonfly canopy. I do not have a problem probably to the

Steve, I worked on my kr off and on for 14 years. As I had no experience in
what I was doing I can only guess it took ME around 2000 hours. However, I

Try a blast tube to the gasgolator (?). You are getting vaporization either
in the line or gasgolator. Terry Teer had this porblem on his kr. Six
months, many changes, two carburetors later it was solved with a blast tube.
