The WAFs are properly aligned with the spar on both sides.
Also, everything is already glassed.
Much easier to keep the spar hole pattern unchanged, vs cut up and redo the
stub wings in order to redrill the spars.

The original wings are questionable, with big spar 'bumps' in the airfoils
(looks like foam and glass 'settled' while curing), some large
delam/unwetted-glass spots, and a nice thick coat of housepaint over it
all...

The newer cases (from gpasc) use a Subaru starter from a late 80s legacy or
gl... This is the model gpasc sells (geared starter)
It won't fit older Diehl cases without an adapter, which gpasc also
sells... The older cases take a rotax starter (snowmobile/jetski type)

gear & some form of VW motor, posa carb... There appears to be minor glass
repair needed on the elevator (I was an airframe mechanic in the Army, so
