I have wheel pants but don't use them because I am concerned they'll rip
off on landing - I fly out of a grass strip in extra-rainy western WA....

My 'wide open' flying RPM is around 34-3500 if I remember right, although
that's based on a westach 'voltmeter-style' tach - I grabbed a 'tinytach'
off Amazon and plan to get precise numbers before I actually buy anything.

What is the 'right' top-end RPM for a 2100D (the 65hp version, not the one
with the wide valves)?
