Hi.
If someone wants to start an alternate group with a different logo, that's
dandy. If someone wants to take over full maintainership of linuxchix,
you're more than welcome to choose a new logo. I've been trying to find a
new maintainer for the project for, oh, a year now on-and-off, and no o

Here's the deal:
The LinuxChix lists are now managed by a system called "mailman" instead
of majordomo. They are also hosted on a new system. All of this is
good. On the other hand, some stuff has changed.

As many of you know, the LinuxChix lists are currently messed up and

Sorry for the cross-post, but...
I want everyone to know that today (Feb 7, 2000) is LinuxChix' first
anniversary. On a blustery Sunday morning a year ago, I came up with
the idea, the name, and the original website for this little project. I
registered the domain name, set up the mailing list
t; for linux, the gender speficic issues of linux etc.

Hi all.
I hate to have to do this, but it seems like it's time for the "friendly

While there are only two posting guidelines for the LinuxChix lists ( 1.

that should be followed when posting to a mailing list.
Hi all.

Hi.
I just thought I'd send out a quick reminder that the Ottawa LinuxChix

I'm not sure whether everyone in the Ottawa area (who is interested) has

The stupidest thing as that someone (clueless) said to be "but it's
